Live Nativity Landing Page
Every year, my mom organizes a live nativity production in my community with hundreds of volunteers and thousands of guests. I was able to spin up this quick landing page for her to replace the legacy one she was using.
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it and I love to celebrate! One of my favorite parts about growing up in Folsom, CA was the huge Live Nativity that goes on every year. My mom has been involved with it as director for the past 6 years, and I got to help one year as an actor. Thousands of people come from all over the Sacramento area to see the production. Doing something on this scale requires easy to use systems to support it, and as a non-profit event, those small bills can sometimes add up. I noticed my mom was using antiquated, hard to use technologies to manage her landing page and track volunteers and cast-members. I knew that I could make something better and cheaper for her, so I made this one weekend to help her out. The best part was getting to feel involved in a great cause and feel the Christmas spirit in September, hundreds of miles away from my hometown!
